Im new to proxmox, and are trying to install it on my server for the first time, but ran into some problems accessing the webGUI from my laptop. My setup is this: I use my landlords router for internet access. I have my own Asus router that is connected to my landlords router via wifi. My Asus router is set as a media bridge/repeater, and my server and mediacenter is connected to my router with ethernet. My laptop just connects to the landlords router with wifi.
In ubuntu this worked great. My laptop could access the server, since its on the same subnet, i guess?? But now when i try to install proxmox, i can not reach the server anymore.
Are there any way to solve this? Im just a beginner when it comes to proxmox and linux and networking. I would appreciate any help.

This is not a Proxmox problem. It's a networking problem. Your ASUS is a repeater. So ALL IP address come from the landlord's router. But is the Asus really repeating? If it does repeat/bridge, then it also means that if you connect your laptop to it via ethernet, you should obtain an IP address from the landlord's router. Do things sequentially:
1. Connect your laptop via Ethernet to the Asus. Does it get assigned an IP address? Is it able to access the Internet? If yes, then goto 2.
2. Connect your server via Ethernet. Assign it a static IP address. Ensure that the IP address is not in the DHCP scope that is issued to devices. It needs to be in the reserved range. Don't let it obtain an IP address automatically, because you will have trouble when it changes after the lease expires.
3. Access your server using https://x.x.x.x:8006, where x.x.x.x is the IP you assigned it.
4. Discuss the router (Landlord's) config with them to have that x.x.x.x reserved.
