Problem with public IP into VM [SOLVED]

Hello!

Sorry for my very bad English.

I have VM with Ubuntu Server.

I created bridge EXT1 with network card on proxmox server. In this EXT1 I don't set ip, mask and gateway.

Into network card I plugged cable from switch.

I throw this EXT1 to VM. In VM I set ip address, net mask and gateway. But gateway not ping.

Where is my mistake?

You should give more details and if you see the MAC of the VM on your switch.

Dears forumchane!
I solved my problem. Problem was I'm incorrect detect network card on Proxmox Server.
Now I correctly detected and my VM is work fine!
