Problem with ethernet after installation

This is my first time using this type of software.

So far i have done a good bit of research and searched forums with similar or the same problem.
None have helped so far.

I have edited a bit of interface and added netmask and hwaddress as per some instructions.
And here is the output of commands i found being asked in other posts.
At this point i think i have gone through all of them so maybe someone can see something i don't.

It looks like you used the default IP address of the installer. Please try an IP address that belongs to the subnet of your network instead. And use the IP address of your router as the gateway. I expect those two IP address to have three of the four parts the same. Here is a similar issue.

in /etc/network/interfaces

i would recommend

• to comment out the hwaddress line in vmbr0 section
• and the netmask line is not necessary, because you defined it in the address line withe the /24 part.
