Problem with ¿virtual ATA bus?

Hi everybody,

i'm havig an issue with proxmox ve 1.2, everytime i create a new KVM machine and make a Ubuntu Server 8.04 install on it, at boot time appears this error....

problems related to bad disc, or bad cable link, but it happens on any VM i create in any of my three phisycals servers in cluster with proxmox installed.... ¿any ideas?

Maybe this is just the result of a CD eject command? Do you use the CDROM of your server?

Nop, i'm not using the cdrom

Is that log from the virtual machine, or from the host? I guess its from the VM, so it is the eject command from ubuntu installer.

You were right, the log came from the virtual machine, and when I removed the cdrom from the vm's hardware list and I've rebooted the machine, the problem has disappeared.
I created a new cdrom device, rebooted again and everything worked properly, could it be he was trying to eject the installation image that was mounted in the cdrom?
