Problem Proxmox v3.2 and Windows 2012 in virtual machine

Hello.

I recently installed Proxmox 3.2 on Debian on a Dell R415 server with two AMD Opteron 4226 processors. Have been deployed multiple virtual Windows 2008 R2 without any problem but when trying deploy virtuals with Windows 2012 these extremely slow funcionand and are impossible to finish a fresh installation.
I have another similar environment with Dell servers with Intel Xeon processors but where this problem has not occurred and there operating without any problems of virtual with Windos 2012.

There are any problem with AMD processors and virtualization with KVM?

What is the Intention to use version 3.2 ? If possible Upgrade to Proxmox 3.4 and read this best practice Wiki https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Windows_2012_guest_best_practices . We used this and made good experience with Windows 2012 R2. Well, we use Intel Based Cpu's but this doesnt matter. Check if your AMD server has AMD Virtualization technology enabled in the Bios.

Hi.

Sorry, but i used 3.4 version. Its the output pveversion:

pve-manager/3.4-1/3f2d890e (running kernel: 2.6.32-37-pve)

I will review the bios to see if virtualization is enabled, but it must be pregnant with windows 2008 virtual work perfectly.

I'm a runing a lot of dell r815 with opteron 63xx (quad sockets), without any problem since years.

Check that your bios is updated (They sometimes fix cpu microcode)
