Hello!
4 Proxmox VE hosts and shared LVM storage (DELL ME4024), connected via a 10Gb switch.
I'm importing VMs from ESXI, mostly on Windows 10. About 60 VM's were imported fine, the system boots successfully.
Subsequent import went through without errors, but at the start of the guest OS, on any host:
Preparing Automatic recovery> diagnostic your pc> Automatic Repair> Shut down or Advanced options
System Restore does not work.
When creating (qm importovf), a message appeared:
Wiping dos signature on / dev / grdell / vm-165-disk-0
Logical volume "vm-165-disk-0" created
If you import ovf to local storage (local-lvm), Windows starts successfully.
I also noticed that when making clones of stopped VMs, they also began to start with the same error.
By making a clone of a running VM, the system starts up successfully.
The creation of new VMs is also successful. Importing Linux VM to shared storage is also successful.
Updates are complete on all hosts.
Could this "Wiping dos signature on ..." cause a problem with the launch of the OS? And how to deal with it?
