Pre clustering SAN questions

Hello,

I am about to cluster my 2 Proxmox VM servers. I have some questions about storage. My soon-to-be slave server has 2 local arrays attached to it and an iSCSI SAN that I want to use for live migration. Is there anything special about how to add the SAN? Can I leave it configured on the slave and just add the slave server to the master and the SAN will just show up? Or do I have to configure the SAN on both servers before hand? Or is it best to add the SAN after?

On mine I installed everything to the master and then added the slave... once the slave is added you don't have much access to change anything after it is added to the cluster. I also set my SAN as an NFS share instead of iSCSI.
