Hi,
I am trying to setup a file server using samba. I am having issues with transfer speeds. Large file transfer will start out at 110 mb/s until around 2gb of data has been transferred and will then drop off to 30-40 mb/s. I think I have ruled out network issues as iperf test at near wire speeds. I also have a linux nas on the network that will transfer data at near wire speed. Looking for some suggestions? This happens in a guest vm and even when using samba directly on the host. Any help would be much appreciated.
