Hello.
We have a server with TR 5965WX, WRX80 SAGE SE and 1x NVME 8TB. With UDIMM memory (8x 32GB) everything works normally, but with LRDIMM memory (2x 128GB), up to 3 or 4 virtual machines, everything is ok. But when I start 6 machines everything is very slow. Even the PVE Shell.

I ser high load on CPU and time CPU on top. But no iodelay and low memory. Regardless of which VM. With UDIMM memories I can connect 20 VMs without problems.

your threadripper has 8 memory channels so it benefits from having at least 8 memory modules installed. if you only use 2 dimms you are wasting some potential.

also check the mainboard memory compatibility list, some memory configurations may not work with full memory clock speed.
check the memory clock speed with both configurations. you may even have to manually set the memory speed in bios, its not a server grade mainboard after all, workstation mainboard with overclocking?
check if you have the newest bios/uefi update installed.
