This topic is old, but i would like to check if have a solution to limit send emails.
One of my environments: 2 PMG Node Clusters <---> 4 differents MTA servers (Zimbra, Postfix and Exchange).
The case:
I dont need install PolicyD on each MTA server and manage it.
If a account is compromissed, it send 5000 emails in single our.
So, the idea is:
On PMG, limit send email/hour or email/defined time and can access queue, so we can monitory and identify if a account/server was compromissed and make adjusts, suspend account, etc.
Today, i only can do it when spam emails was sent from MTA server. But, after emails sent, my ip is blacklisted on blacklists or providers.
If i can monitoring the queue, i can see if user send 100 emails/hour and check it before send more100 emails, then mark it as a compromissedd account and delete queue, mitigate problem, etc.
Have any option today to make it better on PMG or any integration?

I am also in urgent need of a way to make rate limit.
