Typically, a admin use the snapshot function to rollback a vdisk for operation system in case of an incorrect update package and malfunction. Sometimes the malfunction is recognized some days later while the vm was already active and the data vdisk changed. Now, your one want to rollback the OS vdisk but not the data vdisk because your one would loose the changed data.
