Performance Issue with vGPU

Hi

We are migrating our VMs from ESXi to Proxmox. Now we have Performance issue with the VMs with vGPU.
We are using Proxmox 8.3.2 with a downgraded Kernel to 6.5.13-6 that we are able to install the Version 16.8 of the Nvidia Drivers for our Nvidia A16 GPUs.
I'm getting 31FPS on a Webgl Test in Chrome Browser, but the Performance in Outlook and Teams are very poor in comparison to the Performance on ESXi.
I have tested several Kernel Versions and also Version 16.5 of Nvidia Driver. But without success.
We are working on Windows 2019 Terminalservers with Citrix XenAPP.

Have any other experienced the same? or have anyone a Solution?

For you info we had ESXi 7.0.3 with the Nvidia Driver Version 13 before.

not super sure about the performance issues (did you already check the cpu type /storage? maybe the bottle-neck is there for outlook/teams?)

but fyi AFAIK the A16 should be supported by the v17 drivers too according to https://docs.nvidia.com/vgpu/gpus-supported-by-vgpu.html)
and the v17 driver should work with the 6.8 and 6.11 kernel (to rule out the performance issue is a kernel issue)

I have checked the CPU and Storage, but this are not the issue, we have over 100 VMs that are running fine without vGPU. The issue is only with vGPUs.
Yes A16 is supported by the v17, but we have Windows 2019 which are not supported by the v17 Driver, that's why we are stuck on the v16.
 
what profile do you use? does e.g. the task manager show that the card is in use?

I have now installed the v17.5, the new guest setup is labelled with windows2019, even though the official support was dropped with the v17, this was the first setup in the v17 series that are labelled with windows2019. So I was also able to use the v17 Setup on the Proxmox Host with the original Kernel 6.8. For now it works, but I'm still in touch with Nvidia, to get the answer if the official Windows 2019 Support is back since v17.5

For your info, we are using different A and B Profiles on the vGPUs.
