PDM Usage bars are not usable

I installed PDM 1.0.1 today and ran updates to 1.0.2. The first thing that I notice is that the visualizations are not usable.
"Guests With the Highest CPU Usage": Literally all of the bars on this widget are the same size (quite small), but if you hover over them, the usage % is accurate.
"Nodes With the Highest CPU Usage": The bars do vary in size, but in an inverse manner. Nodes with lower CPU usage have longer bars than Nodes with higher usage.
"Nodes With the Highest Memory Usage": Same behavior as "Guests With the Highest CPU Usage" for all PVE hosts, but slightly larger for PBS (the usage is being listed as 47.85%, but the bar is approximately 10% of the overall graph length).

Is this a known issue, or am I missing something?

this is meant as a bar over time (left is older, right is newer) where the color indicates the usage (100% red, 0% green). I agree it's not the best visualization, but nothing better did come up yet.

e.g. see the example screenshot in the docs: https://pdm.proxmox.com/docs/_images/global-overview-dashboard.png

there you can see that some hosts have a discolored line at some points (where they used more resources)

or am i misunderstanding something here?

Thanks Dominik,
No, you're not misunderstanding - thank you for the explanation. To me, it seems like the wrong tool for the job - it's like they're being used as a heatmap. I feel like the dashboard would be more readable if those particular charts were measuring current condition, with the bars sized by usage. If you want historical usage, there should be another widget that you could add to the dashboard for that, and it could be measured via line chart, scatterplot, or heatmap.

Maybe I'm color blind but these bars/colors are extremely hard to read/differentiate.

i agree it's not optimal. If you have a (in the best case concrete) improvement suggestion, please open an enhancement request on https://bugzilla.proxmox.com . that way we can better keep track of these requests :)
