Hello Dear forum experts.

I've installed my 1st PVE ever few days ago using the latest version and executed upgrade as well.

I'm repurposing my old PC to become my home lab server - I7-2600 with 16GB RAM.

I've installed LSI adapter with few drives in the server.
The PC contains VGA Intel Active Sync.

I've deployed 2 VMs on this PVE.

1. latest OMV - using PCIe passtrough i've passed the LSI adapter to the OMV and i can see the adapter and the drives on the OMV VM (i've finished deploying this OMV with pools/shares/etc and it's working fine)
2. Ubuntu server 22.04 with docker engine and i'm running a bunch of containers on this VM, one of this containers is Jellyfin.

I want to offload video decoding on this Jellyfin using the Intel Active Sync, when i did PCIe passtrough to the VGA controller to the ubuntu VM i came across weird issue, the OMV VM just crashed and both can't be running in paralel.

using lspci -vvv i've verified that the VGA controller and the LSI adapter are on different IOMMU groups.

The VGA cntrlr - IOMMU group 0
The LSI - IOMMU group 2

This is the adapters
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 2nd Generation Core Processor Family Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 09) (prog-if 00 [VGA controller])
01:00.0 RAID bus controller: Broadcom / LSI MegaRAID SAS 2208 [Thunderbolt] (rev 05)
Does any of you experts has any idea how to TS this?
