PCIe Passthrough and SR-IOV

Hello all,

I have gotten PCIe passthrough to work as I expected it to. With my use case I am passing through the entire network card, not individual ports. Since I have passed through the entire card how does that affect SR-IOV? If I want to use SR-IOV with individual ports am I am able to, given the initial passthrough is the entire 4 port card? Do the two go hand in hand?
