PCIe Network Card Issues

Hello,

Semi long term user of Proxmox first time poster in here! I recently did a new proxmox built on a Dell PowerEdge T430. The setup works great. I am running eno1 which is attached to the onboard ethernet for management and some internal VM's. I have a PCIe 4 port network card for some public VM's that I am trying to run. Here is the issue I am coming across. The Proxmox server sees the PCI card, I have SFP Cage 1 assigned to one of my Linux Bridges. I get negotiation on the SFP port (which is a copper SFP module) but there is where it pretty much stops. At first I thought OK, it's something with my Linux Bridge configuration. If I move this Linux Bridge to eno2, which is the 2nd onboard ethernet port, everything works. I move it back to the PCI Card in Cage 1, things break again. I loose network access to the VM, the VM won't pull an IP address and etc.

I don't know the brand of the PCIe card. Am I running into Proxmox either not liking the card itself or the copper modules I am plugging in? Is there a way to tell? Thanks in advance for the help.

**One thing to also note. I thought maybe I wasn't using the correct SFP Cage on the card, so I did end up trying them all.**
