Hello all,
Having a bit of an issue with PCIe passthrough working on initial boot of the VM, but then once the VM is rebooted, the screen attached to the passthrough device loses signal/image.
Running the following:
Proxmox 4
Xeon E3
MSI H97 Motherboard
Nvidia GTX970 (Main card acting as host display for the moment)
Nvidia GTS450 (Passthrough card)
I have followed the steps listed here to arrive at my current configuration: pve . proxmox . com / wiki / Pci_passthrough
Have installed both Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 on different occasions, then edited config to include the passthrough devices for the machine once installed. Getting a BSOD for Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 boot but eventually terminates during boot but that's another story.
Would like to get the configuration working so that I can reboot my VM and retain the passthrough on the next boot - then I can hack away at the other issues, without having to reboot the host each time I want to reboot a VM.
Another thing I have noticed is that I loose host keyboard after a VM is booted - even though I have not specified any USB passthrough settings.
Any insight much appreciated.
Thanks.
