hello,
I'm using actually a PVE Cluster 6.2.15 with 4 nodes and an external pool storage based on a CEPH Nautilus Cluster with 3 nodes , where Disks VM's are stored.
(+ I have an HP physical backup windows server with 8 SATA 4To disks in raid5 )
This Infrastructure is working on a 10Gbits network - linked on 2 ARUBA switchs 10Gbits and LACP Trunk.
I would like to install and configure a backup proxmox server for my vm's. What is the best solution :
1- Install a PBS VM' on the CEPH cluster storage and mount an external NFS Share in the datastore menu ( mapped to the windows backup server)
2- Install PBS on a new physical server link to my 10Gbits network with the same mount external NFS Share.
3- Install PBS ( Vm' or physical ) with 2 disks : first one for the system (30Go), second one for the backup(4To) ( this disk could be stored in the NFS windows share )
Others?
Thanks you for your suggestions.
