I've got a Proxmox VE cluster (all with subscriptions) in a small home office environment. I'm now setting up a PBS server, but do not have the budget for a community subscription of PBS ($500+) at this time.
While I anticipate being able to get a subscription later, in the meantime I want to make sure I'm actually getting updates to PBS itself. By default, it looks like I'm getting all the actual Debian repos, but no PBS updates, as the enterprise repo is inactive. (See screenshot).
I see that I can add the no-subscription repo, but it gives me a warning about not using it in "production."
How risky is this, exactly? I don't mind if I have to reinstall PBS, as I have a separate pool for backup storage, but I need it not to get confused and eat my VM/LXC backups.
