Pbs for backup maildir

Hi!

Is pbs proper way to daily backup lxc conatainer with thousadt mailboxes (maildir).
About 4TB data but millions of individual files.

Of course, and storage is zfs mirror.

Then you can just backup the LXC to PBS.

Also take a look at [1], may be worth giving metadata a try given your type of data.
