PBS dropping error messages on shell

Hi,

I have seen that my PBS is dropping error messages on the shell (see screenshot)

Can someone tell me how to fix this please?

the messages just say that some tasks blocked more than 120s, most often this happens when some io hangs (e.g. nfs mount, slow storage, etc)
you can check/post the content of 'dmesg' and the journal and see if there is more info on what exactly the reason is

My backup needs days and never finishes.
PBS is not showing the progress or estimated time to finish.
Atm. the system runs stable but is not logic at all ends.

Example: You can create a datastore from the GUI but not delete it.

Any idea where I can take a look to find out what is causing the problem?

the journal is the modern way linux system logs (previously the syslog). you can view it with 'journalctl'

Beside the fact that I have an issue with my DNS and my mail provider (which I will take care about later on) I do not see a real problem there.

please post the logs from a time where you did encounter the problems you have...
