My PBS is using around 13TB on my datastores but on the proxmox host on ZFS its using 31TB how is this correct?

STORAGE-VM/vm-3016-disk-0 8.88T 6.52T 8.88T -
STORAGE-VM/vm-3016-disk-1 16.8T 6.52T 16.8T -
STORAGE-VM/vm-3016-disk-2 5.63T 6.52T 5.63T -

Can i shrink my ZFS?

This is getting pretty crucial now, is there anything i can do? is it worth dd empty space? i don't want to wipe any crucial data, and i dont have space to make move and then back.

also note that trim / thin provision is enabled

HOSTING 20T 7.1T 13T 37% /HOSTING
ADMIN 20T 2.2T 18T 11% /ADMIN
CLIENT 20T 2.1T 18T 11% /CLIENT

so how can the host be this?

STORAGE-VM/vm-3016-disk-0 8.88T 6.52T 8.88T -
STORAGE-VM/vm-3016-disk-1 16.8T 6.52T 16.8T -
STORAGE-VM/vm-3016-disk-2 5.63T 6.52T 5.63T -

it makes no sense.

You're asking why PBS is using less space? It deduplicates across backups.

On the PBS VM its using less space then then on the on the physical host, i think this is due to volblocks. looks like i will need to start from scratch
