Hello,

I'm trying to passthrough a PCIe card "Qualcomm Atheros AR9485 Wireless Network Adapter".
However, I have been receiving the error on vm startup:

kvm: -device vfio-pci,host=0000:05:00.0,id=hostpci0,bus=pci.0,addr=0x10: vfio 0000:05:00.0: error getting device from group 18 : No such device
Verify all devices in group 18 are bound to vfio-<bus> or pci-stub and not already in use
TASK ERROR: start failed: QEMU exited with code 1

the only thing different about this device in dmesg was:

[ 1391.057142] vfio-pci 0000:05:00.0: not ready 1023ms after resume; giving up
[ 1391.057799] vfio-pci 0000:05:00.0: Unable to change power state from D3cold to D0, device inaccessible
[ 1391.058133] vfio-pci 0000:05:00.0: Unable to change power state from D3cold to D0, device inaccessible

Has anyone managed to successfully passthrough this WiFi card?
