Hello, I want to upload a file with the qcow2 extension but I get an error. What should I do about it?

Hello, I had the same issue on PVE 8.3.4. I see you are on 8.3.0. Only .OVA import is supported on these versions
I updated to 8.4.1. I'm now able to import ova, qcow2, raw, vmdk, img...
If you don't want to update, use SSH to transfer your file.

I am getting a similar error with ProxMox 9.0.11 I am trying to upload the HAOS image from this url

I upgraded my proxmox from 8.4.* to 9.0.1 and I am wondering of something like the file extension types permitted is incorrect like that previous post?

Appreciate any help........

Don't think pve supports downloading compressed images. You have to download the file to your pc and extract it first (z-zip?) and the upload the qcow2 to pve. -> "wrong file extension"
