Hi, I'm trying to import a OVF package for a KVM environment into PVE, I can get the machine imported and started but it always ends with a crash and the machine dropping to the shell.

The machine is a Oracle session border controller for SIP calls and if I import it into VirtualBox it 'seems' to run with no issues

The package also comes in VMware as well as Hyper-V flavors.

Have tried messing with the SCSI controller settings as well as the Processor type 'x86-64-v2, x86-64-v3, kvm64 etc'

Any thoughts?

C.

Update, found the issue, the VM want the CPU type to be 'host' once this is changed the machine boots OK
