Options for two-node cluster for PVE 5

Hello,

with proxmox 3.x it was possible to have two-node cluster using DRBD, since 4.x two-node HA is not possible and DRBD isn't supported anymore. I think storage replication with ZFS can replace DRBD somehow, testing this right now, but what is the status with HA? I saw on forum, that version 5 will have two-node cluster option again with some 3rd arbiter node for quorum, is it still in planning?

Hi,

There are no 2 node HA in no product, they have all an tiebreaker.
But yes you can use qdevices see

But I still can create 2-node cluster just without HA, so I can migrate VMs to another host for e.g. kernel upgrades, right? Thanks for the link btw.

2 node cluster are complete ok.
Only HA is working with 3 nodes.
