Hello everyone.

Recently migrated from a SolusVM node to a Proxmox, a server farm of OpenVZ VM using vzrestore.
My question is whether I need to import the templates from original source /vz/template/cache/ , but for now the servers seem to run smoothly.

Thank you very much.

I don't know SolusVM, but normally in Virtual Environnements, templates are only used when you create a new guest, so I don't think you would need to copy them to your proxmox server. I don't use OpenVZ myself, but IIRC Proxmox provides OpenVZ templates made by Turnkey Linux

Thanks manu.

I don´t see any issues for these migrated containers after some days of running in Proxmox. Definitively the old templates seems not required.
