Hi

I am trying to run Cisco ACI Simulator on Proxmox 7.2. It boots fine but has no network connectivity.
Checking the documentation the VMware vswitch requires the following settings:

  1. enable promiscuous mode
  2. enable mac address changes
  3. enable forged transmit
I have the first enabled in the OVS but cannot find an equivalent for the other two VMware vswitch settings.

An Ubuntu 22.04 LTS VM works fine on the same VLAN attached to the same OVS switch and can DHCP an address and ping can be reached from a PC on the LAN.

Any ideas ?

Thanks

Hmm. I installed Virtualbox on the Ubuntu VM and then another Ubuntu VM inside that and it works perfectly, DHCPs an IP address and can be pinged etc so nested virtulisation is working fine. Must be something to do with the Cisco VM. No idea what though, it works fine on VMware Worksation. Its running fine just the networking that isnt.
