Hi all, Im having some strange issue on my proxmox server.

I was with Graphite working and got out of space, meanwhile, all vms, containers, and storage, got the question mark and I was only able to login into web UI on a private browser.

After I fixed the graphite storage problem, the question mark disappeared from all items, but now I'm only able to login to proxmox on a private browser page, if I go to the normal browser I insert my user and password and nothing happens, no errors no messages, nothing is just like I didn't press the login button.

I already disabled all extensions from the browser, and the same issue occurs.

Any tips on what could be happening??

Not really an idea. But did you try a CTRL+F5 on the login page, when in non-private browser tab, to drop the browser cache for the webUI?

Yes already did that :( didn't work, disabled all extensions and nothing, it's very strange this behavior it seems that, something on the normal browser is affecting it, but even running with default settings doesn't help...

I just had this issue occur to me. In my case, LastPass was populating the language filed with "English" which is an incorrect value. The correct value is "English - English" from the drop-down. Clicking the login button would do nothing, however, I eventually noticed a red boarder around the language field. Disabled auto-fill on that field and no issues logging in.

Hope this helps.

Here's a step-by-step guide:
  1. Make sure to save the current password for the site somewhere safe first, then delete the LastPass item that is corrupted.
  2. In your web browser, navigate to your Proxmox installation.
  3. Enter your login credentials, but do not log in.
  4. Next, goto the LastPass extension, left-click. then select LastPass > + (large plus sign) > Save all entered data
  5. The fields "captured" by LP are displayed. I left this alone, just 2 fields with username and pwd (may not be labeled correctly, but go with it).
  6. Select Add password to complete the process.
  7. Once you're done saving the new item/password, you can go back and edit it further to make any necessary adjustments.
I hope this helps someone. I suffered with this damned issue for years before I got it sorted out.
