one CIFS no longer showing

pretty new to proxmox so pardon my ignorance

I have 2 CIFS shares mounted from the same NAS

backup -> shows up and works normally and can see the dumps
data -> show as mounted and active but the VM disk and ISO Images show empty




i can browse the NAS from my desktop and the VM disk and ISO are still present and have data in them
Mount points still exist

not sure what / where to look

the files are in the correct subfolders? What does the content look like when you look directly under Proxmox under the mounted path?

ls -l /mnt/pve/<storagename>/template/iso

its empty from pve shell but when browsing the share from my desktop i do see the image i have on it
so not mounted ?

If you enter mount you see all mounted drives. Is this share included in the output too?
How did you configure the mounts? Manually via FSTAB or via the WebUI [1]?

Can you find any hints in the logs?

journalctl -r #Reversesearch
journalctl -f #Livelog

originally mounted trough webui
mount shows both shares; i dont see differences between both
journalctl doesnt show any errors or anything obvious
pvesm scan cifs shows all the shares the user should be able to access

ended up removing the share and re-adding it from the UI; everything is back to normal
just weird
