Onboard Soundcard for exclusive VM use

Hello,
I have my Proxmox with a Home Assistant OS VM.
I have connected the onboard soundcard of the Proxmox host (Intel Audio) to my audio amplifier and would like to give exclusive use to my HA VM for playing music.

Which is the correct way to achieve this? I tried adding sound hardware to my VM but whichever device I use (intel-hda, ich9-intel-hda, ac97) VM seems to get it but no audio is played.

Someone had same issue?

You have to pass it through to the VM.
