[SOLVED] nvidiafb hang install, nomodset not working.

Hi, so I'm doing a fresh install on my server after I accedently broke my old server when deleting the kluster.

I thought, well lets go with proxmox 9 now.

I have a msi mb with AMD R9, dual asus rtx3090 Turbo and a 2.5G pcie card.


The issue is that everytime i start the install it stops when loading driver nvidiafb. I tried to add nomodset, nomodeset module_blacklist=nvidiafb initcall_blacklist=nvidiafb_init and a bunch of other commands and it still does the same.

What are my options?
I saw someone installd Debian first then proxmox on top but I'm not shure of the process for this.

I'm greatfull for all the help I can get.

I tried to add nomodset, nomodeset module_blacklist=nvidiafb

The correct spelling is nomodeset - did you ensure you typed it correctly in GRUB? (Just to be sure, as you use two different spellings here).
Did you also select the Terminal UI installer?
