I'm not really sure about setting the CPU's for a VM. Our Servers have 2 Sockets with 8 Cores per Socket and 2 Threads per Core... So all in all not more than 32 "virtual" CPU's.
However, due dome reason I'm able to give to a VM a maximum of 4 Sockets and 128 cores - How is that? The hypervisor is not able to provide that amount of CPU's to a VM?
