NTP best practice

Hi All,

I've strange time skews on two of my Proxmox installations.
One it's 3 minutes ahead and the other 20 minutes ahead.
The NTP server is properly configured and the firewall opened.
What's are the best practice for hw/network time settings for the host and guests?

I run chrony on all my machines and never had an issue that I didn't cause myself, i.e. missing firewall rules or something.
But systemd should work just as find so are you sure your hosts are able to sync with your ntp server?
