noVNC proxmox 5.0 focus

In proxmox 5.0-23/af4267bf the console frequently does not take keyboard input. Clicking the console window repeatly allows for one character until steps repeated. An older version of noVNC used outside of Proxmox does not show this behaviour. Behaviour is seen in Chrome/Firefox at Linux for every console OS. Windows FF/Chrome works fine

is this in the console popup or in the inline console tab?

Firefox seems resolved after uninstalling Firebug. Chrome works in popup but not inline and does not have extensions installed.
