noVNC/HTML5 not working

In fact, none of the HTML5 is working.

I have Firefox 32.0.3, the latest version. When I open up the JavaScript console on a noVNC console window, the following error shows up:

Skipping unsupported websocket binary sub-protocol

The status (up top) of the noVNC console window is

Code: 
noVNC ready: WebSocket emulation, canvas rendering

but nothing happens.
