I have installed the 5.4.1 version from a usb, and it correctly detected the array created with the smart array p410 on the install progress.
But when i start to boot the installation, the system doesnt find it and enters the bios directly. I tried changing the boot options from the bios but couldnt fix it.
Can any one help me to sort this out?

* Have you configured the smart-array to boot from that RAID, which you installed PVE on?
* If you don't get past the BIOS it seems there is a problem with the bios - usually the bootloader comes after the bios?
* Do you get any error-messages on the screen?

- Yes, I configured the array with the Proxmox installation to boot as primary.
- Yes, Its like it couldnt find nothing booteable so it goes into the bios.
- No, i cannot appreciate any error messages. The hp smart array loading screen seems ok on startup (It detects the logic volume) but then its like the bios cannot find a booteable partition

hmm - since the p410 is a few years old - make sure the node is booted in legacy/BIOS and not UEFI mode

else boot the server with a linux livecd and check out the output of:
* sgdisk -p $disk
* parted $disk
* lsblk
* blkid
(where your replace $disk, by the disk's device node (/dev/sda))
