Hi,

We have recently installed a proxmox mail server to act as a mail relay for some of our smaller clients, however mail from clients, to remove mail servers is being denied:

Dec 17 13:12:59 FCL-MS-01 postfix/smtpd[2894]: connect from unknown[124.150.174.17]
Dec 17 13:12:59 FCL-MS-01 postfix/smtpd[2894]: Anonymous TLS connection established from unknown[124.150.174.17]: TLSv1 with cipher AES128-SHA (128/128 bits)
Dec 17 13:12:59 FCL-MS-01 postfix/smtpd[2894]: NOQUEUE: reject: RCPT from unknown[124.150.174.17]: 554 5.7.1 <gavin.a.charlton@gmail.com>: Relay access denied; from=<applications@creditcapable.co.nz> to=<gavin.a.charlton@gmail.com> proto=ESMTP helo=<CC-SBS.capable.local>
Dec 17 13:12:59 FCL-MS-01 postfix/smtpd[2894]: disconnect from unknown[124.150.174.17] ehlo=2 starttls=1 mail=1 rcpt=0/1 quit=1 commands=5/6

I have added 124.150.174.0/24 into networks, which from my reading should allow that network to relay via this server.

I have also disabled SPF however this has not helped.

Any other bright ideas at all?

Thanks,

Hm - on a quick hunch - your internal senders (124.150.174.17) need to send their mail to the internal port of PMG (26 in the default settings)
the trusted networks is only considered trusted there.

I hope this helps!
