Hi there,

when I installed Proxmox VE, I assigned the IP address 192.168.10.200 to the server.

I subsequently changed the server's IP address to 192.168.10.201 by editing the file /etc/network/interface.

Using the new IP address I was able to connect to the web server and also via SSH.

Now I have noticed, that the IP address shown in ‘Datacenter --> Summary --> Nodes’ is the initial one (192.168.10.200) while the one shown by selecting my node ‘pve --> network --> vmbr0’ is the latest one configured (192.168.10.201).

I also noticed that if I connect a monitor to the server, the old IP address is still shown in the login screen.

How can I align the two IP addresses?

Thank you all for your help!

You need to adjust the IP address in /etc/hosts as well and then preferably reboot the system afterwards to apply the change.
