Hey!

I've been using Proxmox VE on one of my servers for a couple months and it has been working great. However I've installed Proxmox on another machine and I'm trying to add it to my cluster. While adding it, there was an error about a key for the new node not existing yet, however after running "pvecm updatecerts" this seems to have fixed this. Carrying out actions on the new node works completely normal, on either node, and all of the items have a green check mark.

However on the original node, the status of the new node and its contents are all "unknown". I can access the summary and shell of the server, but cannot create any VMs on the new host from the original node.

Looking at the system logs on the original node the following is shown:
"Dec 03 13:36:45 pve pmxcfs[824]: [status] crit: RRD update error: unknown/wrong key pve-node-9.0/SERVERNAME"
I feel this is the issue however I'm unsure on how to resolve this.

I have tried force updating the certs on both nodes, as well as restarting but to no luck. Has anyone had any experience with this or could help out?

If any more information is needed just let me know. Thank you for the help!

Are you running the same Proxmox VE version on all machines ?

Yes! This solved it. So one node was running 8.4.1 whilst the new node was running v9. I just ran an update on all packages and that has resolved the problem. I would never have thought of that thank you!
