Hi,

I am experiecing a stange issue. It is not possible to upload files to the server. This includes ISOs via Webgui or via scp. Upload stalls after 2 seconds. When using apt or wget directly on the server download proceeds normaly. I posted that issue in the german forum too without result. Hope you can help me. Thanks.

Regards, toddehb

Hey,

are any error messages shown? Could you check journalctl and post the output of df -h?

No, no error messages and logs are inconspicuous . Hdd usage is very low

If I do a wget within iso directory download proceeds at full speed and till it finishes

Could you run scp with -v? That should give some more detailed info about why it fails. Do you have something mounted on /tmp, when you upload something using the WebUI it is first saved there, so if it is not possible to write there that might cause the problem. However, that should not stop scp from working(unless you scp to /tmp).

Just came back from vacation and scp all of a sudden works without problems even to /tmp. I have not mounted anything to /tmp manually. Look on above screenshot to see what is mounted.

But the upload using the WebUI still does not work? Could you post pveversion -v.

Looks to me like you never updated this PVE after the initial installation with the 7.2-ISO. At least not with a working PVE-repository.

See here how to update:
https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/im-unable-to-upload-files-to-my-proxmox-server.114541/#post-495356

Could you have nload running and check if the transfer of the file actually stops when the UI stalls? Does the JS console in the browser spit out any errors?

Just had to setup new Proxmox host, because my ssd died. After freshly installation the same problem persists. Weird. Maybe something on the firewall blocking, but no clue what it could be. Client which is initiating the upload has no restrcitions so far I can see at the moment. Need to investigate further.
