I do not think that this update will make pass-through 100% bug free, that isn't really possible. 
As always, pass-through is a complex thing and very dependent on the hardware combinations in use, there can be many different issues so its always good to mention the specific one you're affected by.
Newer kernel versions normally improve things here, do not expect too much though. Why not simply try it?
