No "raid1" option in ZFS?

Why the "raid 1" option is not available? Or, its just renamed raid1 to "mirror" with the same functions?

It's basically the same as Mirror.

RAID1 Also called “mirroring”. Data is written identically to all disks. This mode requires at least 2 disks with the same size. The resulting capacity is that of a single disk.

You will probably not be happy with ZFS on these drives.

Why not?

Search the forum for QLC and you will find that ZFS does not work well with those kind of drives. Other filesystems also have issues on sustained writes but ZFS with sync writes and write amplification always runs into trouble. Everybody who buys QLC drives creates a thread on the forum with ZFS problems. It's never the other way around...
