No Quorum on one of three nodes

Hi All!

I'm using Proxmox a long time already, and really enjoying it!
A couple of weeks back I've added a third node into my datacenter. And now I'm facing some issues with quorum, at least I think these are issues.

Some background:
I've had two HPE DL360G9's as nodes, after a lot of reading it was clear to me that I needed an Q-Device for quorum if I wanted HA on those two nodes. So I did add an Q-Device on a VM I have running on Azure. Works great, not a problem at all.

Recently I did welcome the new (at least to me) DL360G9, the third one. But with a bit more resources. I've installed Proxmox joined it in to the datacenter and started rolling.
Last week I did discover that there are some quorom issues, at least I think.
The new third note is showing NR. PVECM status:

0x00000000 0 Qdevice (votes 0)

If I remeber correctly, when I was doing maintenance once and restarted one node, all of them (three) would restart. I thought maybe coincidence that the Q-device was not available or something like that. But after looking is to this I did see those weird node votes.

Is there somone who can clarify this? I've been reading around on the forum and interner, even asked my big friend "Always Information"<CGPT but I cant seem to find a good answer.

Thanks guys!

You don't actually need the Qdevice with 3 servers. That would give you 4 total votes and you'd then need 3 to have a quorum. (because 3 is over half of 4)

So is your question here why the Qdevice shows 0 votes?

Technically one can change the number of votes per server but that doesn't necessarily help except for low server counts.

That sounds logic indeed, never thought of that, facepalm.

Well, the Q-device show 0 votes. Node 3 shows 1 vote but the Qdevice status is NR, that should be NA,NV,NMW right?
