When I use Spice as the display type - and IE or Edge as the Browser to access Proxmox - I do not have a LOCAL or REMOTE cursor within the console window. I am running the latest Proxmox (before kernel fix) and have created a stock Linux Ubuntu (Canonical) Guest with 16GB Disk, and 2 GB Ram. Also using Spice as Display type.

In the CursorVisible.png image, I have my cursor to the LEFT of the Firefox icon OUTSIDE of the Console window area. The Arrow cursor is VISIBLE. When I move my mouse to the right INTO the Console area window - the Arrow cursor disappears - BUT is still active - as you can see the Firefox Dialog bubble popped up (see CursorINVISIBLE.png) indicating that my mouse is hovering over the Firefox icon. But the LOCAL cursor is INVISIBLE !!!

Am I doing something wrong ?? Is there some other setting I need to tweak ? How about the DISK and RAM settings ???

when you use spice as display, you should use a spice client to connect, otherwise this does not makes sense

OK - I am missing something. How do I use Proxmox HTML5 interface to use spice client ? When I am in the Proxmox HTML5 interface and click console - It uses NoVNC. I assumed this was correct ?

Well - I really didn't intend to use Spice - don't want to have to load another VNC type client. Was just something combination I tested/tried while trying to figure out my mouse pointer issues with NoVNC and various browsers. Looks like I am still stuck with a double mouse pointer (firefox) and weird mouse pointer issues.

So how do i get NoVNC or Spice (doubtful) to work on IOS - which is my 3rd environment - my iPhone !!! I will post this in a new thread
