Good Morning,
I am a new Proxmox user and so far very enthusiastic. I was able to rebuild my pfSense (until now on a Synology) already without major problems.
Unfortunately, now I'm stuck with a problem that I just can not get on with for several days:
I want to install Nodejs in an Ubuntu16.04 VM (for ioBroker), but I can not access sources if they are provided via https (I have already tried Debian - same result).
Whether with curl or wget - it simply does not happen and I get timeouts or error messages in the way: "Sockets hang up" or "your version is not supported for Nodejs" (which is probably nonsense for a Ubuntu 16.04). http-Traffic seems to be OK (and apt is working fine).
In the net there are relatively many contributions to the topic "Nodejs installation, if you are behind a proxy". While I'm behind a pfSense with Squid enabled, it's transparent and I can see it's not blocking anything from the VM there. In addition, the download via https in the Proxmox host and all devices at home is worling wonderfully and the data also goes straight through the pfSense.
Do I have to make any network configuration changes in the Proxmox host or the guest VM?
Configuration:
Proxmox host with
1. vmbr0: Management LAN
2. vmbr1: WAN
3. vmbr2: LAN
currently 2 VMs
1. pfSense (using WAN and LAN)
2. Ubuntu for ioBroker (using LAN) -> here is the problem.
I'm grateful for any help! (If more information is needed, please ask!)
