NIC Missing After Update

I am using an intel NUC as my proxmox host. Upon installing the latest iso install 8.2 I am immediately up and running using my TB3 10g network adapter. It is a OWC Thunderbolt 3 10G Ethernet Adapter which uses the AQC107 chipset.

As soon as I update proxmox with apt-get upgrade to the latest everything the NIC completely disappears from proxmox. I have tried this with 2 identical Nucs and 2 of the same OWC adapters, and started fresh 3 times, each time the same result after upgrade. I don't know if a driver was removed or if its a bug but I am stuck.

The adapter was previously enp46s0 and now is nowhere to be seen.
