Greetings

I have 3 proxmox installations, all running the same version install. I have one on a physical machine and the other two are VMs. I have set up and NFS mount on the Syology NAS, when I go to storage on the physical machine, I can connect and run backups that are saved on the mount.
The issue that I have are the other two proxmox installs, nether of then can connect to the NFS mount. I have set up all 3 servers as a cluster. See below.

Below is what appears in both of the servers syslog.

Apr 23 22:41:32 prox01 pvestatd[1188]: mount error: mount.nfs: access denied by server while mounting 192.168.1.170:/volume1/Proxmox
Apr 23 22:41:42 prox01 pvestatd[1188]: mount error: mount.nfs: access denied by server while mounting 192.168.1.170:/volume1/Proxmox
Apr 23 22:41:52 prox01 pvestatd[1188]: mount error: mount.nfs: access denied by server while mounting 192.168.1.170:/volume1/Proxmox

I do not understand why it fails.

Do any of you clever guys out there have any good ideas.
Thanks
Lawrence

I am very sorry I created this ticket and then did a little more thinking, I found that I had to create a specific rule for each server that I want to allow access to the NAS. The issue is now resolved.

This issue can be closed.
