Thank you for this post. I created a new mount that was hassling me with the "offline" error and I realized after looking at my storage.cfg file that I had mapped every other share by IP address but this time I went at an NFS share by hostname. It mapped fine in the GUI but would throw this because of the reverse lookup issues.
So, editing hosts would have fixed me but I realized that I could just edit the storage.cfg file and changed the name to the IP. Ta-da.
