I have storage mounted with NFS, the NFS share has data disks for VMs on a Windows storage pool. Yes, I know this is not ideal, eventually I will be copying the data off and then converting the windows storage pool to full ZFS but that's a fair bit down the line.
What I find is that if the Windows VM is rebooted the NFS share hangs and does not reconnect once the VM is back up.
i've tried various ways to get NFS to auto mount or remount, I've tried manually mapping as well as autofs but nothing has worked,.
Please let me know what the best way is to get NFS to recover or if I can use SMB and make the disks writeable.
